Move along, nothing to see here

Yarn, Dried Tiger Lily Stems, Sand, Water, Installation & Performance, 2015
Move Along, Nothing to See Here was an installation and performance piece as part of Art Vacancy Free Float (http://www.artvacancy.com) along with 11 other artists. The work was installed along the South Skunk River in Ames, Iowa September 5th 2015.
The work reflects concern with the balance between corporate greed and a healthy and sustainable environment. As observers floated by they were told not to look, move along and everything is fine. Embodying a corporate attitude I dug and destroyed the installed forest with no regard to the effects of the destruction.
